I didn’t realise what had happened when we first turned the corner, Brian had practically jumped out of his seat in fright, and I think the male lion felt the same way. He was lying in the middle of the track and had gotten a bit of a fright as we rounded the corner, he was up and making his way into the wooded area on our left. This was my 1st attempt at a shot of him, but he wasn’t to disappoint.
