We were right next to the river although you wouldn’t know it because of all of the reeds. On our second night we were visited by a pair of hippo’s that woke Paul and I up munching loudly on the grass outside of our tent, sadly I didn’t have the camera in the tent and with the hippo’s less than 2m away I wasn’t willing to go down to get it!!
