We stopped at the side of the road after visiting the rock art sight to enjoy another road side lunch. We were under the shade of a tree enjoying our cold drinks when this guy appeared from under one of the rocks - thankfully he was a dwarf adder and didn't pose much threat to us, he headed for the nearest tree where he tried to make himself camoflauge against the trunk!
