There seems to be a universal law that Einstein somehow missed. The less time available in a hotel, the better your room will be. Due to arriving at midnight and leaving the following evening at 6.30 pm we actually booked two nights here for around A$150 or A$75/night. It was a shame to have to checkout and leave one night essentially unused - but good to have our room until 6.30 pm. Well worth the extra cost, especially with the lovely upgrade.
