Well strictly speaking Woolly Fringe Moss. It covers vast swathes of the Laki Lava Flows from the 1783 eruption. This lava covers 600km2 of area - the largest such area on earth. The magic moss can grow to 50 cm thick in places. It's super sensitive to any touch and glows this magic greeny colour after rain - lucky us!
