we got into krakow last night at around 930pm after a 7 hour train ride from prague, where the ticket guy made us move seats like 3 or 4 times. at one point we were just standing in the free space that connected two of the cars because we didnt know where to go. the guy couldnt speak much english, so he could tell us to move but he couldnt tell us where to go. you would think that if they were so concerned about where u sit they would put seat numbers on the tick...

from everything we were told about athens, mike and i both expected athens to be a really polluted, dirty city. it wasnt as polluted as i expected, but it definitely would not qualify as an attractive city. our hostel, athens backpackers, was located right next to the acropolis metro stop and was walking distance to all of the sights and cool parts of town. the hostel had a roof top bar, and it was so cool to be up there at night because you had an awesome view...

After a five hour train ride from rome to bari, an eight hour ferry ride with nowhere to sleep on but the concrete floor from bari to iguemensita, and then another hour and a half feri from iguemensita to corfu, we have arrived on the greek island of corfu. we are staying at kind of a famous hostel called the pink palace. so we check in at about 830 in the mourning, on no sleep, and the girl at the reception desk greets us with a shot of ouzo. it wasnt as bad as ...
