Hi everyone! Sorry for not writing for a couple of days. I am now in Laos and it is the most amazing country - I love it!!! Had a 2 day boat trip on the Mekong river and it was so relaxing. Stayed overnight at Pak Beng which is a tiny village full of charecter. The locals were so friendly and the children were so cute we were plotting to steal a few! Arrived in Luang Prabang yesterday and we are staing in an amazing guest house with lovely wooden huts. Have been drinking a lot of Laos beer (not sure why as I don't like beer!) but it would be rude not to! Went elephant trekking today in the waterfalls, which was absolutely stunning and then did a 4 hour kayaking trip - so you can be reassured that I am working hard! I've only been away a week and I'm already wondering how I can ever work a night shift again (don't worry Harrow I will need the money in June!) Anyway I'm off to bed now as getting up at 7 tomorrow for another trek!
