As I look at the tiny clock atop of my iPod it is saying that there is officially an hour and a half until I arrive at the front door of the airport and my journey begins. I find that the most exciting part about traveling is not knowing how your life will forever be changed. I am saddened at the snapshot tourists who never take the time to slow down, and look at the life around them. They never stop being tourists they never appreciate the weave of history and life in the city that they travel to. Many people don't stop to realize that the small slice of their travel is normal life for the natives in that hometown.
As I travel for the next three weeks I have the utmost desire to see Greece in the eyes of a tourist who sees and appreciate Greek life. So as I close this post in Greek fashion-Ας αρχίσει η περιπέτεια( and the adventure begins)
