Drove to botanical gardens lovely giant water lilies. Had picnic in the gardens. Long drive but stopped at Gris Gris beach on way back nice beach crashing waves most southerly point on Mauritius. Coffee at Chez Rosy. Dinner at the chateau excellent.

Drove along the motorway up to Eureka lovely colonial house and walk to spectacular waterfall. Then on to Domaine de Pailles. Helpful local man guided us there! Guide showed usround very impressive with casino restaurants and sugar mill. Back along motorway then to Gris Gris beach

Drove to East coast and long drive up to Domaine de Etoile. Lovely lunch then good walk up to viewpoint. Drove back via motorway much quicker!

Drove to Charmeral lovely waterfall and interesting coloured earth. The on to Black River Gorge viewpoints super scenery. After lunch on to Curepipe not great apart from Troix de Cerfs crater. Long drive same way back

1st day with car. Travelled to Morne Brabant then Tamarind beach and on to West coast Flic en Flac. Good day ate at the Chateau excellent
