In the morning we eventually caught the bus to Kampot, for an hour they were trying to start the bus, before they moved us onto a different one! The journey took about 4hrs. Kampot is a very small town with very little to do. In the afternoon we went to Kep beach (about 45min drive from Kampot), the water was lovely, it was shallow and very warm, so I went for my first swim in Asia! We found shade in a bamboo hut overlooking the beach, which had hammocks and wind chimes... very relaxing! When we arrived back at Kampot we found out that Bokor National Park (the reason we came to Kampot) was shut for 4days!! In the evening walking back to our hotel I was the most scared I think I have been in my whole life! We had to walk down empty pitch black streets while stray dogs (there are loads in Kampot) barked and growled at us!!
