OK, First - There are shops selling Hamster and Guinea Pig here in the UK ~ They're called pet shops ~ and I'm sure that you'll find a suitable, sorry 'pukka', recipe on JamieOliver.com.
Second - Have a fantatic time Josie, it sounds like you are already. I would say that it's quiet without you, but in truth it's never quiet with Lilian around.
Enjoy your trip.
Josie
Sorry - Helen - hamster? Surely guinnea pig? Or are they the same thing? Or can you eat hamster here as well?
Josie
Thanks everyone for the messages people, keep them coming.
Lou - now there are pictures, we would be waiting for a while if it was for met to get a tan.
John - well done with the technology, almost.
Helen - it was on the menu tonight but as we´re starting the inca trail at 6am tomorrow with access to loos only twice a day, I though it better to play it safe with a pizza.
Helen
Please can you try some hamster. I didn't get to try any (to be honest I didn't make much of an effort to seek one out) and want to know what it tastes like. Presumably chicken.
John Sanderson
Didn't quite master the technology - I see the message is on twice.

Hi Josie. Sounds a good start to the trip. Just showing you I have mastered the technology of l communicating with you. Inca Trail - yes, I am jealous. Have a great, great time and hope you avoid the 'runs', common on the trail I believe. Sorry, the northern, down to earthness coming through. John
