Hey there! Still very jealous, it all looks breathtaking. I called grandma today as I'm a bit behind with my card sending so I thought I'd give her a call. She's a bit under the weather with a cold but seems in good spirits, had a fantastic time in Tenerife and really enjoyed your postcard from Oz. I do miss her though, hopefully I'll make it back to blighty in the summer (cant be dealing with that snow and rain mixed together in the winter!). I'm hoping she'll make it out here in mid September for her Grand Canyon trip. Should be fun!

Just thought it was about time I logged onto to see what you were up too (you have only been gone 2 months so i guess thats my excuse for the slackness). Hope you had a great birthday. I really can't think of anything exciting to tell you that would out-excite your tales so I shall try and do something really exciting soon to tell you about. Failing that I shall make up a complete lie. Glad your having a great time and take care of yourself.

Thank you so much for sharing your 'Giant Adventure' with us all. I preferred the Mountains of the Moos at Taupo to Rotarua, which we thought rather comercialised - besides we were nearly crushed to death at each viewing point by japanese running to snap each other!

Happy Happy Birthday Our Josie! And many happy returns! I hope it's the best ever, although you seem to have done all the exciting things there are to do - except, perhaps, bungey jumping? Are you at the glacier? Have you been to the tropical rain forest? Did you walk through the kaori forest and see the oldest tree? Are you going to do the helicopter trip? Are you staying in those marvellous holiday parks? It is so incredibly cheap to be a tourist in NZ!
