There wasn't even a sign saying that we'd left Belgium and entered Germany. But all of a sudden we were climbing hills and driving down the sides of valleys and witnessed some properly breathtaking views. Little did we know, though, that these hills were..... Well, more on that later I suppose. Anyway, we were headed for a Camperstop that was in the field behind a swimming pool, and the Camperstop book, we could see had a big yellow slide. When we arrived we went to pay in the swimming pool, and I nodded along while the lady chattered German at me. Becci got angry at me after cos she realised I didn't have a clue what I was nodding too and that we had no idea about toilets or swimming or the tokens for water. We had a fairly relaxed evening, and I managed set up my hammock for the first time since I bought it 12 years ago in India. It held both of us and so we laid and played cards and read our books. The next morning Becci shaved her legs in the back of Lynn while I 'blogged' in the hammock. And then it was off for a swim. The indoor pool was busy so we kept to the outdoor pool and messed around with the camera which is waterproof. Eventually I decided i would try the slide but Becci said she was happy lying in the sun on her towel. I kept the camera in my pocket do I might sneak a video on the way down the slide. the slide wasn't manned by a life guard so I didn't need to be discreet, but I was so eager use the camera I forgot to pay attention to the go/stop lights at the top, and ended up overtaking a kid half way down, to the boys surprise. With that a ran out to Becci and insisted she come on it with me, as we could go down together. We made a video of that too, which we'll try to upload. After another hour in the sun, we packed up, and headed off to our next stop.
