In Hoi An in Vietnam, and getting really stressful trying to find somewhere to eat without pay anymore than what were used to, and for the same quality. We cycle round for an hour searching for decent street food but its so difficult! So wish they just had a supermarket and a kitchen at the hostel, i would occasionally make my own food! Went to Hoi An beach today we really nice to be on some sand, sea and sun! Went on another bike tour which included lunch which was so bizzare, because when you tried each ingredient on its own, they tasted disgusting, but when they were all rolled together in rice paper and dipped in Vietnamese peanut sauce, tasted so good! Our tour guide told us that she's had five dogs and only recently another dog of hers was poisoned so that they could use it for meat, sick b******s! Met a really cool 65 year old man from California whose basically a hippy and did traveling in 1975, has so many funny and crazy stories. Best one was that he's left his wife back at home to move here in Vietnam because he just loves everything about South Asia! Left her on good terms but he didn't want to waste his remaining years in USA.
All we want to do is rock up to the beach and chill all day, read, listen to music...but no...we either see people we have previously met or start talking to more people! Cant go anywhere for some peace haha
