Flight from Cebu to Surgao City was interesting. The plane had only 20 people max and so we was put on the front emergency seats. It was a small plane with repellers. But when landing and pulling up to the terminal. It was basically a metal shack and there was one small luggage turn stile. It was raining when we arrived off the plane, well spitting and they had staff handing us umbrellas. They need to live in the UK to understand, a bit of rain isn't that bad. Checked into a hotel for the one night, as we have to travel by boat to Surigao island for 8 days to do surfing, fishing and island hopping. Asked reception what time to catch the boat, she told us to be ready by 10am. We got a tuk tuk and purchased our tickets by 10:15, then we waiting till 12:15pm for the boat to leave, so bored! Not a lot to do in this city which means were the only tourists here. So far i think the Philippines could well be my favourite place, but we shall see how the next 3 weeks turn out.
