Went south of Cebu to a town called, Oslob to swim with the whale sharks! It was amazing being so close. These whale sharks are 10-15 metres in length, and harmless. I paid £18 to swim with them for 30 minutes, well worth it. I was like 1-2 metres away. So close in fact that at one point, it was swimming towards me with its huge mouth wide open and some guy was in my way for me to swim away...i panicked a little! They feed the sharks so they stay around for us to swim with them, but its harming them as they are basically captured in the ocean. As they will depend on humans feeding them. Annoyingly, i kept on getting stung by sea lice and jelly fish. Also saw other huge marine life, as the whole area was protected. Worst of all, me and Kyle had to share a double bed (barely a double bed) in Oslob, as it was the only remaining cheap accommodation for the one night. We top and tailed. It was a pointless sleep, as we needed to be up by 5am for the whale sharks and we was by the road, so hardly no sleep that night. Went to Tubalong falls, the water was freezing but we was there at 7am. All worth the trip, however, our bus from Oslob to MoalBoal was crazy. I'm all for an adrenaline ride but jheez, he flung the bus around the corners, over taking everything in his path and the side doors were open, i thought Kyle was going to fall out. The women here are so flirty, they all seem to want to talk to me and compliment me, take pictures, which is okay i guess!
