San Juan Del Sur is known for its pool parties and so we went to one. We went to the famous one called ‘Sunday Fun day’, which cost and arm and leg for the ticket, $20. It did include transport to the different bars but still, transport is particularly cheap in Nicaragua. Definitely not worth $20. Some paid $30 to go to the first bar and a t-shirt. Ometepe Island in Nicaragua is the largest freshwater island in Central America and is the only island in the world with two volcanoes on it. We hired two bikes, which me and Kyle drove, as we were more experienced with bikes than the other two. We went to a 135m high waterfall on the volcano which was pretty epic. Boarded a cheap local bus to Granada. Transport here is surprisingly cheap but food is not. Main highlight in Granada was, we went to the main square to be chased by bulls. Leon, Nicaragua is great little city with a great supermarket. I was able to buy all my necessities from here. I certainly appreciate the little things in life.
