Antigua reminded me of Cuba, in a strange and surprising way. The old architecture, cobble stoned roads and street festivals, gave Antigua a lot of culture. Flores to Linquin Champey was an horrific bus journey. We were in these cramped mini vans, very uncomfortable ride. The roads here in Guatemala have to be the worst in terms of pot holes. I really don't know how they could drive in the night. As they have no street lights, and these pot holes are like ditches in the middle of the road. Flores is a very small island within a lake. It takes 25 minutes to walk around it, thats how small. All the buildings are colourful, much like Cuba.
