From Santa Marta we headed to Tagonga which is a small coastal town which is the gateway to Tayrona National Park. Seb asked for the wrong place when heading to Tagonga, he asked to go Tayrona the national park. Luckily once again I checked the map and we were going in the complete wrong way. Surprisingly the local bus we got on didn’t charge us when we asked to get off because we took the wrong bus. And so we jumped off and got in a taxi as the taxi was cheaper than the bus. Tagonga was a disappointment, I was expecting beautiful beaches but turned out to be some small town with poor roads. Not a huge amount of food or variety or things to do. And turned out to be quite dangerous as some British girl from our hostel got mugged, but she was walking back late at night on her own. What does she expect, that’s literally rule number one, stupid girl. We chilled at the hostel mainly in the pool and enjoyed the scorching hot sun.
