Day 141 (Thursday 8th March 2007)

• Had to be up by 6am, and after only 2 hours sleep I felt awful. Felt even worse when I saw Kyle stumble out of his room and open a beer! Even the thought made me cringe!
• Took a drive up to Noosa, stopping at Mcdonalds on the way to help our bellies out! Was great to be back and atleast it gave me a chance to get a couple of photos of the main beach.
• After one quick stop at Gympie we arrived at Hervey Bay to catch the ferry over to Fraser Island.
• It was pitch black when we got on the ferry and the stars were on form! We all kicked back on the boat and watched a few hundred shooting stars!
• When we arrived at our lodges on Fraser Island we quickly had dinner and went and got ready for a our Fancy dress party!
• We had such a good night, looked like a bunch of retards but we didnt really care! Even some people from the other tours there decided that we looked so cool they wanted to join in. Of course they weren't quite as good as us though!
• We went back to our lodge at around 3 am and sat up talking for a couple of hours before heading for bed.

Day 142 (Friday 9th March 2007) - Happy 21st Kaileah!

• Slept in until 11 and woke up to the ridiculous heat outside!
• Meet up with a few of the others for a 4x4 trip to see some of the island. Stopped off at Lake Mckenzie which was stunning. The water is so pure that they told us if you go for a swim your hair feels like it's had a conditioning treatment, and it did! The pure white sand was also a good exfoliator so we all got out feeling refreshed!
• We then drove up to Central station and walked through to the crystal clear lakes. It was a beautiful place but the mosquitos weren't so much fun!
• Had dinner at the sand bar and decided we would have a fairly quiet night tonight. We took a few drinks back to our lodge and had a quietish night!
