The flight left late but arrived early which was great. The best part of the flight was the food and wine.our lunch which we both chose was a beautiful Waldorf salad served with hunter valley pepper tree Chardonnay , dinner was New Zealand fish meal it too was really flavoursome again served with pepper tree wine as much as you needed but that is where the positives end. The 747 once thought to be the pride of the fleet is now compared to the 780 airbus more like a sardine can. The after meal service was non existence ,Shirley wanted a simple cup of tea put her attendance light on and waited over an hour just to be acknowledged anyway that is all I have to say about that.We touched down in Johannesburg at 4pm South African time 12 mid night our time an it was peeing down rain,huge thunderstorm. Tomorrow we fly to Victoria falls where we spend 3days there then fly back to Johannesburg . Well that all for today we will keep the blog coming as we find wi-fi
