Glad to hear you're taking lots of photos. I've taken hardly any since Bangladesh. Mum & I did a presentation to the church with the photos and my boss at work has asked me to do a presentation to all staff this week! Look forward to your next blog now you're back on your travels.....

Hi Jo, I hope you're taking lots of photos! Your descriptions are good and just make me want to see more. And the two together will make a great diary, especially if you comment on what you think, etc. Love, Dad

Hi Joanna, Astonished to find how easy it is to let you know we are thinking of you. Have a GREAT time. Grandad is pretty jealous, and wishes he was your age again. Much love, Granny.

Hey
China sounds great hope youre managing to adapt. Manchester was really nice! It was big with the main campus really close to city centre. English dep is quite small though because the main focus is on the sciences. College is so so but going fast with wendy dragging us to compton verney tomorrow, joy!
Looking forward to hearing from you!!

Jo,
Granny passed on your blog url so thought I'd send a quick msg. It sounds really interesting and a good way to travel with some company. I'm looking forward to the photos - I did a quick browse for Ulaan Bataar - its much bigger than I thought. Also found a picture of the inside of a ger, so now I know what it looks like!
Take care. By the way Dad, like to explain the special underwear? (low maintenance/non-washing?!?)
Love Ann
Dad
Hi Jo,
Sounds like you're really enjoying yourself - any chance of photos? I can visualise some of it - Mongolia was on a couple of TV documentaries last year, and was on TV today when the Chinese astronauts came back to earth. And of course Beijing has been broadcast worldwide (tho we didn't see much of it!).
Now you're in one place for a bit, hope you can get a bit of rest (and laundry - how's your special underwear doing?!)
