You really are having problems with the sat nav aren't you? according to one photo you are in the most south easterly point of Australia, well the last time I looked at a map the most south easterly point of Australia was in Victoria!!

Great to be able to read the blog and know where you are even though we have missed you on the phone. Its been a ridiculously busy week here, 2 birthdays, 2 sleepovers (Lord save me from 10 year old girls!), me in Melbourne for 4 days and Trish now in bed with a violent vomiting bug. Someitmes the Nullarbor sounds all right you know! By the way, I dare you to climb the Gloucester tree at Pemberton - Emilie did it so Grandad has to! God Bless you both.

You should have had us with you. You would have seen more animals!!! Glad we missed the flies though and the heat. Vera sounds as though she has been on laughing gas. Good to see you both enjoying yourselves. Take care.

So you thought you lived in the most dangerous country in the world. Well at almost 1 am this morning we thought differently when we were wakened up by the house moving, the wardrobe doors rattling and what seemed like a train passing by at the foot of the bed! It lasted a few seconds, we both said was that an earthquake and waited for the aftershocks which did'nt come but it was not easy going back to sleep. As you may have heard it was the stongest earthquake in this country for 25 years and measured 5.4 on the richter scale.
Anyway enough of us, sorry not to have posted a message before this but be assured that we are keeping up with all that you are doing so please keep it up, it is appreciated.
Sorry to have to report that Maureen's sister in law, Susan, is in Huddersfield Royal with suspected cancer of the pancreas. It has taken a long time (too long, but I won't go into the history) to get to this point of diagnosis. Susan is having a biopsy today but it is not looking good as it would now appear to be in her bone. So your prayers for Susan and her family would be appreciated.
We wish you well in your travels, keep in touch and God bless

Hello again well seasoned travellers. Lovely to read your blog, it doesn't seem that you are on the other side of the world! What a wonderful experience it all appears to be. Won't bore you on your mammoth trip, just love to you both. God bless. Love Sylvia x

As you can tell, I don't log on often. Glad the trip is going well. Wasn't aware you're into politics-drives me nuts!!!
Eat your heart out Rosemary Conley- food to die for. don't put too many pounds on, you know you'll struggle getting it off again - not to dampen your trip or anything. Mind you, you may manage to walk it off with all the wandering you're doing.
Keep safe.

ANother excellent entry, your blogging is very impressive. You might want to check the map though, it has you starting in Perth and places Canberra somewhere west of Brisbane - at this rate you will be in Port Moresby for Easter!
