mum (sylvia), jo and bert outside mount vernon. mount vernon for those who do not know was the home of george washington (the first president of the good ole USA!) its a wonderful place, its in virginia and the scene from where we were sitting was amazing. you can see the whole of the potomac river practically and lots of wonderful wildlife and trees. we had a wonderful day, even if the place was packed with school children. mum got treated like she was the queen of england and we managed to get pushed to the front all the time. a great day had by all
