Having failed to get any trips to Mexico or Alaska because almost all were booked up due to the long holiday weekend (Canada Day here and Independence Day in the US),and the ones I did find were for double occupancy only and hiked the price up (it's just not a singles world sometimes), I have found myself going to Toronto and Niagara Falls by booking into the youth hostel! Fortunately a very good friend's parents live just outside Toronto and when I wrote to them to ask if we could meet, they invited me to stay! :-) YAY! I'm not there yet so I can't tell you what it's like but will do upon my return next weekend. I'm off somewhere COMPLETELY different the following week....WATCH THIS SPACE! Jo x
