This morning, I went to the Vasa Museum, which houses the Vasa ship, a salvaged 17th century warship that sank ~1,300 metres into its maiden voyage. The ship was quite the spectacle and is viewable from all angles on several different floors. There are various exhibits around the museum that display the history of the ship. This morning, I made my way over to the island of Langholmen, where I rented a kayak for part of the day. The weather was spectacular and I got some nice views of the coast from a "duck's eye" view. This day, I made my way through Drottninggatan to Gamla Stan, the old town. I took a look through the Royal Palace, which houses some interesting displays and gives a history of the Swedish monarchy.
