This morning, we went to Pier 84 along the Hudson River to catch a harbour cruise. It wound around the south end of Manhattan island and up the East River just past the Williamsburg Bridge before reversing course and returning. This morning, we made our way downtown to commence a tour over the Brooklyn Bridge and into the neighbourhood of DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass). The tour was quite good and gave lots of history of the Brooklyn Bridge and the DUMBO neighbourhood. This morning, we made our way over to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Met has some interesting exhibits from various civilizations, though doesn't stack up with some of the well-known European museums. Our flight arrived early in the morning and we took a shuttle over to our hotel to drop our bags off. After grabbing a bite to eat, we wandered through the streets of Manhattan.
