OK final bit now. 31st May we flew Lima to Rio De Janeiro. Late night flight so landed at 5 ish in the morning. Blagged our way into a hotel in Copacabbana. Grey and cloudy (not what we expected) but warm. Banks in Brazil seem very fussy about UK cards so hard to get any cash. Eventually find one that works so at least we can eat for the next few days! Whole place a bit scruffy and run down (bit like Spain 30 years ago!) but not a bad atmosphere and once the sun finally came out we did the usual trips, Sugar loaf Mountain and the Christ statue. Both very impressive so not a bad end to our world trip. We are now looking forward to not living out of the old suitcase and sleeping in our own beds again. Will post some pictures soon.

Just a quick update. Having some trouble putting photo's on at present, so will leave it now till we return to Spain on 11th July and then we can bore you all with lots more pictures and information about whole trip !!!
