Ciao Bello et Bella's! Bit of a change of plan - we have, for the next two weeks, abandoned the Tucan tour to do a bit of Jim & Jude sightseeing around Southern Italy - the tour only goes down as far as Rome!

We've got ourselves a campervan & will head down to such sights as the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Mt Vesuvius & Pompei & then head up north again to do Rome & Venice before joining the tour again through Croatia, possibly in Budapest if we take that long! (around the 5th)

The tour is really good & the people are great, but it feels a little rushed - off the coach, quick tour round, on the coach, off at campsite, pitch tent, have meal, back on coach for another nightime trip then back to campsite, have a drink, go to sleep around 12am, up at 6am for shower & breakfast, on the coach... you get the picture!!

Plus Jim's got a really bad sore throat/cold combo & my travel sickness is rearing it's ugly head - quite embarrassed that i'm the only one who's had to stop the coach to spew at the side of the road - lovely!

So we're taking some time out of the rat race that is Organised Touring & doing it our own way!

In Pisa at the moment, not actually seen the tower yet as wanted to get things sorted first, but going very soon!

Ooh, and Monaco was FANTASTIC!!!!! Best place we've been so far, me & Jo from Altrincham convinced ourselves that we saw Theo Paphitas from Dragons Den but we may have been a bit too giddy to focus properly!

Will still be home on the 13th, we've got flights from Gatwick arriving at 11.30pm on the Monday night (couldn't face another 4 hours on a coach!)

Ka-caw, Ka-Caw (which is the call of a wild Tucan, which we are!!)
