Hola!!
So I landed in Buenos Aires at 9am local time and 12pm your time (UK) after sleeping for a mammoth 10 out of the 13 hours of my flight, wahoo - I am a champion sleeper in any location apparently. Which means I am fresh and ready to explore this great city. This will only be a short blog as I have to meet the group in 15 mins back at the hotel to start our city guide. I have already made new friends with polly and Sarah, who have invited me to explore the city further with them tomorrow.
Our 4 star hotel has a lot to stand up to, i´m not sure who awards the estrellas out here but if our hotel is 4 star I can only guess that one star is somewhere in the shanty towns -but I´m with a group so I´m alright and at least i´m not the girl I´m sharing a room with who lost all here luggage at the airport and is stilll waiting for it (although, I have been that girl!!).
We´re heading to a Tango show tonight, which should be fun. I might be tempted to get up and join them hey Katie, Debbie and Matt :) I reckon I´ve perfected some of my turns enough to give them a run for their money....lets hope its not the other way round though, as I´ve heard that´s common in this region!
Will take some pictures soon and put them up too. I´ll just wait until the tan has developed a bit better ;)

Beunos Aires continued:
So on the first day in Buenos Aires we did a really cool city tour by bus of all the best places to visit, which literally ticked off all the top 10 places to visit in Buenos Aires in my "Top ten places to visit in Buenos Aires" guide book, which is lucky cos I lost it that afternoon in a cafe, oops. Having seen all the cool places that exisited in BA the next day Polly, Sarah and I all went back to the some of our favourite spots. My favourite was definitely the cementario recoleta which is a beautiful cemetry filled to the brim of amazing tombs and what I can only describe as invidual resting chapels and the cool/odd thing was you could look through each of the tomb windows and actually see the coffins inside! And i´m talking about hundreds of years old coffins, it was great :) I got some morbid photos of the the coffins that I will be able to post when I find fast enough internet.
We then walked down the very exclusive palmero street called Avenida Avera with the likes of Luis Vutton, Gucci and some nice 5 star hotels, which of course we popped into to say hello to our fellow travellers, we got some very odd looks in our denim shorts and flip flops.
We also visited the San Telmo square full of artists, musicians and tango dancers and enjoyed the street performers while wehad a leisurely italian lunch.
That night we went to an all you can eat barbeque buffet, and when the Argentinians do a barbeque, they really do a barbeque, I have never seen so much meat!!! It was a great experience but I made sure I left enough room for Postre!
At about midnight we then all walked back to our hotel together to get an early night for the bus to Colonia the next day.
