Well to begin I am slightly disappointed in myself as you may know I am keeping a written journal also, which I use as a reference for my blogs (which helps a LOT as my memory is truly shocking), and I have just found that I somehow missed out Miami completely!! We arrived in Vegas by greyhound by 4.30pm in the afternoon and as usual the greyhound dropped us in the back end of nowhere. So we had a bit of a mission to the bus stop to catch the 'deuce' bus to the strip. We got a quick glance of some of the hotels as we drove through the strip and arrived at the Imperial Palace. It seems kind of strange looking back at the start of our US adventure as it feels like we've been here for ages and done so much now! It's because we've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to write the damn blog!! Kia Ora from the land of the Kiwi! I have surprisingly embraced the whole hippy campervan experience! Turns out campsites aren't so bad; it's quite exciting not knowing where you'll be staying next and what adventures you'll be having at each place you end up at. Our departure from Sydney was not exactly the breath of fresh air one always hopes for when making a flight. As we were flying internal we were told by our shuttle company that they didn't need to pick us up 'til 9am, our flight being at 11am.
