As if I wasn't jealous before, now you've seen Galpagos penguins in the wild! Now I'm wayyy jealous! They're the most closely related to the Magellanics we got to play with last weekend and the Humboldts that are probably most populous at the St Louis Zoo. (Yeah, I know, I'm totally a penguin nerd!). Anyways, thanks for capturing some pictures of them! I've already saved them to the computer!

Sounds like it's been a VERY busy and tiring week, so I hope you guys get some rest in soon here! And keep updating, I love being able to have a glimpse into this awesome journey you guys are on!

All I have to say is SICK!!! Whoever picked up that spider is a brave human being (It looked like Candice's hand but I could be wrong). Anyways, it's Renee's bday tonight so we're going out into the city!! Wish you guys were here to celebrate! Miss you and hope you're having an amazing time!!

Wow i feel like i just watched the discovery channel or something! Sounds like a tough time but amazing experience. I killed a spider yesterday and we have our air turned off today, thats my roughin it!

Everything else back home is fine. Trying to finish up plans for my birthday on Friday up in Chicago! Other than that it's pretty normal, no pun intended. Can't wait to hear about all the other craziness...oh and Lauren good news i have a toaster oven you can look forward to when you get back!

Wow Lauren got bitten by an Aunt. Well at least she could meet her husband there. And no electricity, at least it was only for a day. I just moved out to nyc, and am moving out here at least for a year or so. Well at least you guys have each other and are having quite an amazing experience. Wow, that was the craziest entry yet.. lol. I'm replying now because if I don't you won't be hearing from me for a week! I just moved to CHicago yesterday and i'm trying to settle in. I can't really yet though bc the girl is still living here so its weird. I'm lonely!

I thought fire ants were bad... i'm sure these ants are 10000000 times worse, sorry Lauren! I'll have to warn Erica about all these dangers you encountered.

Hey girls! I've definitely been enjoying reading about your travels. Sounds like the whole remodeling a field thing was pretty intense, but I'm proud of your buff-ness! :) It'll be sad without updates for a while, but have an amazing time in Quito and look forward to updates after.

Not too much new going on here, this weekend is Tim's and my penguin tour at the zoo so we get to hold little penguins which will be fun. And then we're seeing Dave at Busch Stadium w/ the fam and Tim's bday is Sunday so we're headed to Six Flags all day w/ my fam and then dinner w/ his fam. I'm going to Seattle in a couple of weeks for a long weekend to visit my family out there so I'm really excited for that. That's about it...can't wait to read more from you guys! Miss you!!!

WOW. It seems like you guys are already having an amazing time! Those pictures with the kids are amazing, you are making such a big impact on their lives. They kind of remind me of the kids I used to teach in Boston, it brought tears to my eyes...

Yes you are missing lots of yummy tv but its nothing compared to the memories you are making. Jenny, lost was preeety crazzzy and I was thinking of you the entire time..... but dont worry abc.com will be here when you get back!

Other than a lot of tv, book reading, laying out in the sun, and some drinking I haven't been doing much. I miss you guys lots and reading all these comments really makes me miss Boston more.

I'm moving to Chicago next Sunday, Lauren I have an apartment in Lincoln Park I am subletting. I move out Aug 20th, don't worry its not permanent. I have a feeling I will love the area though!

Good luck with the kiddies in your final days and MAAAAN digging that much is gonna make you girls BUFFFF. I'm jealous :)

hey!! I love keeping up with you guys so far! All the kids are so cute and look like so much fun. I hope you guys are having a blast!! Not too much new happening here for me, starting waitressing so that's somewhat new I guess. And I'm sure Lauren my mom would want to tell you all about her new goldfish for her pond (still alive after 2 weeks!). It looks like you got caught up on most of the other current happenings....keep us posted tho!
