Kia Ora!! Here is an overview of the last 2 and a bit weeks of the south island of New Zealand, a lot has happened so it might not be in the best detail but its enough for you guys to know what I'm up to! I know there's a massive gap since I last wrote in this blog but never mind, I'll start again from now! So I guess I'll begin with my long long journey back to Australia, which was actually not uncomfortable thanks to me getting a row of seats to myself for both legs of the journey! Hurray! So I booked a 6 day tour around Tasmania, but first I had most of the day still in Melbourne, where I spent a couple of hours in the aquarium which I thought was really good but other people have said that Sydney's is meant to be better. But they had penguins, giant stingrays, sharks, turtles and nemo!! And of course lots of other fish type things too! But the first couple of days in Tasmania were not what I really expected. So Byron Bay, we stayed in a place called the Arts Factory, it was pretty cool and did stuff like free drum lessons and didgeridoo lessons and it had a pool and stuff. There were loads of massive lizards wandering around the place as well and I dont mean gekkos they were proper masive lizards, kinda looked like iguanas but I don't know if they were actual iguanas. This entry is actually going to cover 2 places.. a place called Surfer's Paradise (yes thats the official name of the city!) and then our day in Brisbane! Just because it was rainy in both places and we only stayed there one night a piece!So Surfers Paradise we decided not to book any accommodation as we thought maybe the bus driver would book it for us like they did for people to Byron Bay.. except he didn't!
