Hi All

Here I am in Varanasi and staying right on the Ganges, we rowed down the river at sunset and partricipated in a Puga Ceremony (Flower) - very different style of rowing- I was tempted to have a go but decided I would stay in holiday mode.

have taken some great photos's to share when I return - it takes all day to load them on the blog site so I will send them around when I get home.

Have aslo been on a sunrise boat down the Ganges - beautiful and a wonderful experience - one of the best so far! Saw some Burnings (cremations!) which are going on all the time the traditional indian way.

Went to the Bhuda tree were Bhudism began and many temples and interesting ricshaw rides. have had some amasing unforgetable experiences with the local people - got my barganiong skills going really well howver not too much bargaining in Varanasi, still bought some great peices at fantastic prices.

Wonderful food, people adn rich colours and all sorts of interesting smells and sights.

we're of to Kolcatta this afternoon and then fly home in the wee hours of monday evening for a return home tuesday - I will miss India and have enjoyed every minute.

Sorry haven't been doing my blog entries too often - so much happening all the time and not always able to get on the net.
