AAGGGHH - So wish I was back in Thailand - it has been my home for so long, can't believe I havn't been for two years now. Love Chang Mai too & the north, a lot cooler in the mountains. Get your fill of mosaman beef curry up there - its divine and you can't get it often south of BKK. Where did you stay in BKK? I heard Koh Sahn rd was too expensive now. Back to Chang Mai - have the pandas that were on loan from Beiging gone now - they were worth seeing and they had set up a special humid room for them. Did you walk to the top of the temple in Chang Mai? I assume you are going back before heading south. Mmmm Pad Thai and pinapple fritters...........Shopping in Chang Mai night market is cheaper than anywhere else in Thailand. Careful not to put all that weight back on...
