Arrived in vietnam, in ho chi minh city, last saturday - incredible place with hustle and bustle. Loads of traffic and a real art to crossing the road - just go slowly so all the motorbikes have time to avoid you! Met Tiz at the airport on sunday which was fab - so great to see her and definitely doesn't feel like been 10 months...

Spent a day visiting the Cu Chi tunnels which were amazing - doubledthe size of them and it was still a squeeze to get thro! I would have not been able to live like that - also had a variety of the traps they used - barbaric stuff but theres always 2 sides to the story... as we found out by visitng the war remnants museum - horrific stuff done by the americans too. So sad seeing all this evidence of wasted life and what humans are capable of...

From HCMC headed to Mui Ne on the coast and had a tour there of sand dunes and fishing village, tghen onto Dalat in the highlands with cool air (bliss!) and afternoon monsoon downpours. Had a morning zooming around the local sits on the back of motorbikes - beautiful lush scenery...

And now are in Nha trang on the caost - incredibly hot, managed to get burnt yesterday for 1st time in travels, blaming the photosensitivity side effect of doxycicline! Couple of days chilling here and tomorrow off on an overnight bus to Hoi An - meant to be beautiful and good place to have clothes made.... And thats about all for now - amazing to tink that in 7 weeks i'll be back in the Uk - scarey stuff.......! lots love to you all xxxx
