Well we left you in Noosa and so much has happened since then, where to begin? We headed on an overnight bus to Mackay where we met up with Sam, Evan's mate from Hit Entertainment days who is from there and after extensive travelling herself lives there again now. She did a fine job of showing us round and treating us to nice pub roasts and we drove out to the Eungella National Park where we spotted duck billed platypus ( platypuses? platypi... Mary any gramm...

So... here we are in Noosa having just spent 3 days canoeing up the Noosa River and back - lots of fun! We arrived in Noosa after dark ( which is ridiculously early round here) in time to jump to the supermarket then be taken to Gagaju bush camp - our free night's accommodation before we headed out on the water. The bush camp is by the river and consists of a few huts, bush toilets ( no flush) a tv room, a kitchen, a campfire and a few interesting long termer...

Hello again, so i think we left you in sydney, from where we flew to Byron Bay for a couple of days of Jennifer re-visiting old haunts and a bit of beach time. We got checked in to a Dorm room that meant just sharing with another couple who i suspect of being Finnish, the male in the couple was very surly, but we decided this was no reflection on finnish people as a whole, although it may be...we arrived late at night so had to wait till the next day to check out...

So we're now in Sydney, having a lovely time relaxing chez alice and leon - THANK YOU ALICE AND LEON - it's tragic to say but so lovely to have a bed with a duvet, a TV, a kitchen, a bathroom that you don't have to trek across a field to get to in the night.... and it's lovely to catch up with Alice and Leon who have been out here for a year and now have a lovely flat in Bondi Junction and have been introducing us to the wonders of 7 dollar steaks...
