After a couple of days in Nelson’s Bay we are back on the road again today for the drive past Sydney. We left Tiona on Monday morning and continued along the Lakes Way until we took a slight detour down to Seal Rocks. We had thought about staying here at one stage but decided it wasn’t far enough along the road, but when we arrived we almost started to think about it again! After leaving Port Macquarie and our car troubles behind us and driving along the very scenic Lakes Way we arrived in Tiona yesterday afternoon just a few kilometres North of Booti Booti National Park. Well, today was fun! We decided to stop in Port Macquarie to get a few things before heading to the National Park and pulled into a little shopping centre just off the main road. Once we got back to the car we were all set to go and….the car wouldn't start! No problem, we'll just phone the RACQ to come sort us out, but wait…no reception. So we had to run around the car park trying to find the one spot that had some signal so that we could make the call. ...

Tomorrow we are leaving South West Rocks, where we have spent the last three days exploring the area and enjoying being back on the road again. We arrived on Tuesday after a quick stop off in Coffs Harbour and a reminiscent drive passed Nambucca Heads to find that there was hardly anyone in the caravan park, which at least meant that we could take up as much room as we liked!
