In answer to your question, the old man had a big paddy about the fact he couldnt go up and he couldnt go down and the guide sent him down on the 2nd day on the porters back. Poor guy had been training for 3 months!

You should both definitely do it, such an amazing experience and without a doubt one of our highlights of our trip so far!! Our next plan is to climb Kilimanjiro/Ben Nevis etc etc...

PS anyone looked at the footy funtastic placings recently?? Does Chris claim to be a football fan...? hehe.

Hi Guys, Halfway through your holiday and I thought I'd better FINALLY write an email. Inca Trail sounds great but what did happen to the 70+ year-old American - did he fall off the horse and die in a river?? Walking abilities must be a Hatter trait improved by dog walking in Belgium - Boots sends her love!~! Galapagos Isles should be brilliant - 5Live this evening were discussing the 'Blue Footed Booby' - the females of the species are attracted by the darkness of the male Booby's feet and the longer since they've had a mate the darker the blue - Jen keep a look out for dark blue footed Booby's..!! Anyway great to know that you survived the Inca trail and weren't kidnapped and ransomed - we had saved up GBP12.56p just in case
