Sabaidee.. Sunday evening. Been such a hectic day- AGAIN! We went to see the theatre production last night which was a great new experience. I annoyed myself as usual by analysing every move and stage setting but it was a brilliant show. The dancing was very different and the costumes were incredible, I couldn't start to describe them but the photos should give them justice when we get round to putting them on. After this we went and had a really nice meal (steak again- how Lao?!) and a few cocktails. We got talking to the children selling jewellry and got their addresses to send them the photos we took. They are all so funny and friendly.. still surprised by every child! We had a nice night out before getting another tuk tuk, and Jen and I and a couple of others decided to wake at 5 am to go see the sun rise from Mount Phusi, after watching the monks walk their usual path, and get their food for the day. Jen gave an offering, Mother Theresa in the making. We made it to Vientiane by plane and the hotel is great (at least let's us in after midnight!). We have a balcony and watched the sunset.. finally got to relax. We've just had a few drinks with a bar that actually has music. It was live too, such a difference from the quiet bars we've been going to. Now we're going to check out Laos' capital. We're missing everyone more than you know- please keep e-mailing!
