It's good to read about your adventures, but an 8-mile walk to and from work sounds a bit too Kenyan!! Did you go to Judithh's church? How was it? I guess the singing was good, if a bit different from Vitalis's Pentecostal last week!
It is quite a bit colder here now than when we went to Kenya, and of course the clocks have changed, so it really does seem like winter - it's taking a bit of getting used to.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your stay, we did. Kakamega is amazing, and so different from Oyugis - but then, most places are!

Arrived home 11.30 a.m. yest. & slept for 10 hrs.last night. Hope you had a good night with Judith and co. Trust Janet is providing plenty of secumawiki, sweet pots, mangos (?) & ugali! Glad the charger appeared & hope the teams are keeping you occupied. Any blisters yet? How many visitors have you had? ! !
