Christiane had the honors of taking the pics today, as Dad and I played a 9-Hole round at the Mountain View Golf Course on the Ft. Huachuca US Army Base (where I was stationed 20 years ago!)

The weather was overcast and windy and we had a few drops but nothing to serious. The course is, well, in the high desert, so the rough is more sand and brush more than anything else.

Overall, I was happy with my game. I drove well and hit some nice low irons. My putting sucked as it always does, as well as the chipping. I was using loaner clubs, so it was a bit odd trying to get used to them.

We were done in 2 hours, had a brew at the 19th hole and went back home. Tonight we are doing a delayed St. Patrick's day with corned beef, potatoes, cabbage and Murphy's (couldn't get any Guinness).

Tomorrow will be more of a pack day and get the rest of the shopping done. Don't know what else we have in store. Thursday we are driving back to Phoenix to spend the night before our flight back to Germany on Friday afternoon.
