Well we are half way to Aus. Sat in the lounge at LA airport after a very pleasant flight from Heathrow. Caught up on football Wolves good - Liverpool bad! Cricket score prompted scowls from the Aussies around us. Best get used to that if an Ashes victory is on the cards. Next stop Sydney & fingers crossed sunshine. Ps transit through US airports should be avoided where possible - such a faff!!

Well it is d- day minus 1 and we are packed. Miracle we have 21kg & 22kg bags with 11 items to unpack through effective use of our magic bags. Watching the cricket & it is cloudy in Sydney - sun better get it's hat on for Friday.

Fabulous last day at RSA. A celebration of 25 years. Desk decorated in a strictly theme - complete with me dancing with Matt Cutler! Lovely speech from Sharon and lots of gorgeous presents - specially selected for my travels by Andrea. Lunch at racquets club with Andrea, Sharon & Julie. Yum. Tea & cake at Brew with lots of friends. Hair & makeup at peaches & cream - looked brill. 62 Castle Street Hotel very indulgent & a great idea. And...

'Temporary Leaving Do' Cocktails at Santa Chupito's, a cool bar on Slater Street, then a banquet and drunken karaoke session at China City, and finally more drinks at The Peacock on Colquitt Street. It was a blast! Roll of Honour; Craig, Sophie, Chris, Hoi, Colin, Jackie, Di, Julie, Rox, Jean, Keiran, and Fiona. Special mention for Nicole's special guest appearance, courtesy of her husband!

Passports just come back with our Viet Nam visa's in, woo hoo!
