Tierra Del Fuego is BEAUTIFUL! Not a really a lot of special things to see or do (the town is pretty fead at night too) but, the scenery and feel of the place is amazing. Its wierd to think I´m right at the end of the world. So, my first day here I went up a mountain to go trekking on a glciar. It was ok, great scenery. But, I´m not exactly kted out for trekking or anything...i have all cheap high street clothes, compared to everyone else who has proper trekki...

Ive arrived after a monstruous journey, starting in El Calafate at 3am, crossing through borders and immigration for Chile and Argentina and finally on to Tierra Del Fuego, an island at the tip of South America, in a city called Ushuaia, officially the world´s most southern city on earth. Will update more soon, but I´m off to bed! But so for, Tierra Del Fuego is very nice...very southern, the light is different, its not dark until 11pmish and Im in a posh 5 st...

Wow, what a beautiful place this South western part of Argentine patagonia is! Havent updated as I´ve been so busy. On Sunday, I went to see the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier...bretahtaking. 3 miles long across the lake, 100 metres high, and it stretches 30miles back into the mountains. It was sooo blue, and jagged. And you could hear it "thunder", as chunks of ice crashed against each other (the thing is moving). I had the fortune to see a whole colu...

Right, MUM DAD I´m safe after 70 hours travelling!!! A hellish journey for nearly three days travelling to the southern most parts of Patagonia...a dull joureny I found, the scenery, although impressive at first, is the same...flat, greyish brownish dirt with low lying busehes, with the occasional pack of llamos or ostriches grazing. Past plenty of open estancias, and even soaw some flamingos at a wateringhole. Yeh it´s nice, but not the same thing for 24 hours...

Is so excited for my next trip this week. In the past 3 weeks, I´ve crossed the entire south american continent from east to west, from the capital of Argentina; Buenos Aires to the capital of Chile; Santiago... on my way visiting jungles, desserts, indiginous communities and traditional spanishy towns...and now for a complete change of scenery....heading down south, the the southern most tips of the continent, Patagonia...the region is nicknamed the end of the ...
