so today is the first day here in el puerto without abril. the whole school is asking if i have heard from her yet and all i can do is say no, tell them of her complicated departure story, and hope to hear of her great adventures very soon. The other night we went out to dinner with mostly the staff here at the school. we have grown attached to them here and they epecially to april. so to celebrate her time here and her graduation, they took us all to dinner. ...

So on tuesday last week we went with the school (we technically had the day off for an andalucian holliday so we took a fieldtrip instead.... we just love each other that much). It was really fun. The Rock of Gibraltar is the only little piece of land that the UK owns, Spaniards like to claim it as their own. its so weird because they have their own little weird thing on the straight too, they have two little provinces over on the northern boarders of Africa beca...

okay so here's the rest.... we then went from madrid over to toledo, walked around in the pooring rain up in the mountains, then checked into our hostal... (note: diff b/t hostle and hostal= hostals are much smaller, but we got a single room for jonas he just had to share a bathroom, and a double room for annie and i and we had our own bathroom in our room... not bad.)then we went out to dinner at this really cool little arabic place that was a treasure to find...

we went to madrid, toledo, cordoba but right now i''ll just write about madrid cause i'm runnin out of time... This weekend I was able to go on a four day trip. I went with some new friends from my school, april was originally coming, actually she originally planned it, but was overwhelmed when she discovered all she had to do with DLP classes before she would be able to leave on Tuesday. So we finally made it to granada and the alhambra!
