Have fun in Spain!! Be sure to check out Gaudi's architecture all over Barcelona. The party scene is supposed to be cool. It's Europe's most famous city for innovative food. Vueling Air flies to Ibiza and Formentera as well as Rome, Milan, Lisbon etc. If you can get that deal it would be great. If you cannot let me know and I will speak with the pass bureau. Jax maybe you can use your pass. Don't send it back just yet. Keep the adventure going but be careful. They are really targeting Americans now as well. Love to you both..XXXm

Thanks for the update Grandma. We heard riots on the news the night after we wrote that but no real details about why. We will be avoiding France for the time being, well we are in Chamonix now seeing Mt. Blanc but will be leaving for Barcelona tomorrow. We will try France later when issues are resolved.

The news from France is not good. Youths are burning cars by the hundreds every nite. This will be the 13th. They are upset about 2 guys who were electrocuted supposedly hiding from police. It has spread outside Paris.
Be glad you don't hear a lot of news. Looking forward to more pics. What a wonderful time you're having!!

Glad to hear the Puerto Birthday was full of bite. What is going on in Paris, we do not watch the news very often. And when is Pat coming to California? also, what is your email address?
Pics will be coming soon, we have not done that in a while but Switzerland is too expensive so it will have to wait.
3 countries yesterday. Liechtenstein is splended, as is Austria and Switz.
Went to Jungfrau, supposedly the top of europe at 11,700 ft. today from interlaken, the scenery was breathtaking, lots of pics to come.
Might be heading to Mt. Blanc in a few days for the real top of europe.
