After an uneventful overnight bus journey (only 3 passengers burgled, 1 police car called, 8 passengers sick, 0 chickens consumed, 1 ambulance overtaken, 1 Chinese-dubbed and very loud King Kong film played) we arrive in Lijiang – a town that appears to be very popular with holidaying Chinese, of which there are a lot. These were the only locals that we could find.
