We were running out of time and had to get back to Manila in order to get our flight to Boracay. Annoyingly our cheapest option, by quite a margin was to get the 6 hour minibus journey back to Puerta Princesa where we could fly to Manila. The journey is not pleasant but we got back to Manila safely.

We had a night in Manila and stayed in the nicer area of the city. The hostel was good but the best part of the area was the evening market. It was a food frenzy and we ate, drank and listened to live music for £6! We were also lucky enough to be sitting next to a group of Filipino men who were very drunk and started buying us some beers and giving us crisps!
