We arrived in Koh Phangan safely. Arranged transport to the hotel, did it turn up, of course it didn't it's us!! Managed to get a mini bus to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful literally on the beach and I have never seen sand so white! We had our first meal overlooking the beach tonight watching the sunset. Our first day at Lamai Beach today 7am we took a nice stroll along the beach before we sat in the sunshine. A couple of hours later I took a look at Tom in the sun who looked like a bright red TOMATO that was time to go inside! We went for our first meal out which was really cheap and we had a delicious dessert! We have spent the past 11 nights in three different hotels on Lamai beach. Last day in Bangkok! We managed to get a bit creative and Tom made me a bowl out of a water bottle so I could have some chocolate cereal! We decided to go to MBK Shopping centre which was massive! Seven floors of just real cheap everything! We went right to the top and decided to go to the cinema and watch Spider-Man. The adverts were about 45 minutes long and they were hilarious! So still jet lagged we were up and out again this morning for 7am. We decided to go to Chatuchak Market which is one of the largest markets in the world! When we arrived they were still setting up so we took a walk round and found a beautiful park with a bridge and massive lake and sat in the sun for a while and people watched. After waking up from what we thought was the longest sleep we realised we only slept for three hours and were wide awake at 3am stupid jet lag!! We were up and out for 6am to explore some of Bangkok after a double iced coffee! Eventually managed to grab a taxi to Dusit Zoo which only cost us £3 each to get in to, so we wasn't expecting much.
