So we are finally in India! We got the plane from Singapore and it landed in Delhi at 2.00am. We weren't sure what to expect when we arrived, but we went to get a taxi and the guy told us it was cheaper to get the bus, so we did! The bus dropped us off about 1km from where we wanted to go and we walked the rest of the way. It was by this time about 4am and there was no cars, and hardly any people - the people we did see only wanted us to take a taxi or ricksh...

We are now in Singapore after (eventually) leaving Indonesia. Our flight was delayed by 3 hours, and it was a long and boring wait at the airport. The flight only took 2 hours - it was pretty bumpy, but at least it wasn't too long! When we landed at Singapore the rain was torrential. Bit of a shaky landing, but the pilot did well! We left Malang the next day and headed for Yogyakarta. We decided that since it was about 9 hours on the train, we would go Executive Class, wooo!!! It only cost a couple of pounds extra, and instead of cramped in a non aircon train with 10 people on a seat made for 4, we had designated seats with lots of leg room, aircon, reclining chairs and even a free meal!
